Playing for Us / Training
We’re always interested in bringing new talent to Tavistock AFC.
Prospective players are encouraged to attend a First Team Training Session to meet the Manager, Ian Southcott, and be assessed to see whether they would be suitable to play for any of the three adult mens’ teams.
For weeks where there is no mid-week match (see fixture list), training is every Wednesday from 7.45 (turn up at 7.30) at Tavistock College (across the road from Langsford Park).

Striker. 20 years old. Lived in Tavistock for 2 years now, originally from Durham. Trained/played for a few teams around the area such as callington and Bere Alston. Even after scoring Debut hatricks and bringing plenty to te teams. There always seemed to be a ‘favourite team’ selection each week. Currently playing At princetown fc but ( without being too big headed) the football isn’t much of a challenge. I keep myself fit train regualary. I’d love to see if I could fit into a team such as Tavistock afc. Whether it be for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team. If your interested in me attending the next training session email me on the address above.
