After a recent run of poor results, Tavistock came away with a hard-earned three points against an in-form Calstock team. Tavy started the brighter and at times produced some attractive one-touch football.

The Lambs were without influential midfielder Dave Hallett (calf) and Captain Jamie Ahearn (back), but goalkeeper Andy Meeds was declared fit to return to the starting line up, with new signing Tom Barlow making his full debut against bottom club St Blazey.
St Blazey got off to a great start and opened the scoring in the second minute. The Lambs’ defence was caught napping, when a quick throw found Liam Ellis whose early cross into the near post allowed the unmarked Josh Frampton to nip in front of Andy Meeds to slot the ball home from eight yards.
Apologies for the late notice, but due to adverse weather conditions and the effect on the pitch, tonight’s match against Liskeard has been postponed. Please keep an eye on the site for the new fixture.
The Lambs once again had to make a number of forced changes to their starting line up, with injuries to Andy Meeds, Jaryd Kelly and both Dean Southcott and Neil Kinsman unavailable due to illness. Reserve team ‘keeper Jamie Castle replaced Meeds and both Paul Quinn and Paul Chuwen returned to the squad.
The reserves progress to the last eight in the Rowett Insurance League Cup after this fine win over Morwenstow. Tavistock lead at half time thanks to a great strike from Aaron Northmore in the 22nd minute.
