The Lambs gave a spirited performance in this close encounter with the newly appointed Premier League out fit. OK, so it was close in the first 20 minutes and may be at half time, where QPR lead us 4-0.
To be fair, we always knew it was going to be bit more of a fitness work out than anything else, but considering the difference in leagues, I think we did really well in stages.
Once again it gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all spectators, officials, and everyone associated with our Barclays Premiership opponents, Queens Park Rangers, for this evening’s prestigious pre-season friendly.
It was several years ago Neil kindly agreed to the request of his friend and our late Chairman Robin Fenner, to bring his then Sheffield United side to Tavistock. This evening will be the fifth time he has brought his team to Langsford Park and we do not take his generosity for granted and appreciate the support he has given us over a number of seasons.

It seems that everyone wants to get in on the act for our pre-season encounter against the Premier League’s newboys QPR this Monday, 18th July, with Sky Sports bringing down a reporter and camera to capture this festival of football.
We cannot confirm if Kammy will make the trip for the media bohemoth, but make sure you arrive in good time for the game and grab your 15 seconds of fame by getting into shot (no rude gestures though!).
