Shane Krac returns to the Lambs But in management role this time

December 24, 2022 News

Following on from his recent departure from Saltash United Football Club, Tavistock AFC are delighted to announce that Shane Krac will be rejoining The Lambs, but this time within the management team.

Many of the local football followers will remember Krac for his impressive playing career which saw him play for Weymouth, Truro, Plymouth Parkway and of course Tavistock. But following on from his retirement from football, Krac took on the role of manager at Western League side Saltash and has helped them progress to top of the league at Christmas.

An obviously delighted Stuart Henderson stated, “Our back-room team is very small compared to a number of teams at this level so I feel the appointment of Shane will be a valuable addition to the management team. We share the same ideas about how the games will be played, and I have no doubt his infectious character will be a very positive influence on the group.

Shane and I are close friends and I know how passionate he is when it comes to football. Having had a successful non-league playing career his experience of playing in the Southern League will help improve the group as we look to establish the club at this level.”

Shane Krac added, “I am looking forward to coming back to Tavi and working alongside both Stuart & Darren. I know a lot of the lads, having already played with them, and they have made a good start to the season.

I cannot wait to get started at training this Wednesday and help the lads push back up the table.”

Everyone at the club would like to wish Shane a warm return to the club and we look forward to his first game back with us being Bideford at home in the new year.
