With the League Cup quarter final against Plymouth Parkway next up, Manager Henderson made a few changes to the starting line up, with Reece Shanley and Liam Prynn leading the front line.

The home team having frustrated the Lambs with their tactics, and some really aggressive tackling, gradually got a foot hold in the game, and were now having their best spell. Ben Cross was called on to make a terrific challenge to deny Tolstoy from levelling the scores. However with the Lambs defence and some really confident handling by keeper Sam Borthwick they held firm.
The Lambs deservedly doubled their advantage in the 88th minute when a good move saw Luke Brown and Jack Crago combined well, to provide a great pass to Taillan Burns made not mistake as fired home a terrific shot pass the impressive Newquay goal keeper Zak Roberts who had an outstanding game producing a number of really good saves to keep the Lambs from adding to their goal tally.
Although not at their best the Lambs recorded another victory to maintain their momentum. It was a lovely afternoon, but the conditions, with a stiff wind and difficult playing surface the team found it difficult to produce their normal free flowing football.
Number of good performances but Dan Evans with another class performance was man of the match.
