The Lambs once again had to make changes to their starting line with more injury problems, along with Josh Robins serving a suspension.
The game got off to a fast start with both teams showing their attacking intent in the opening exchanges.
The Lambs injury crises took another turn for the worse when in the 18th minute Harry Southcott was injured in a tackle and was carried off. This meant a switch in the team with Captain Warren Daw moving into centre back, and Tyler Elliot coming on in midfield.
Five minutes later the Lambs put a fine move together resulting in Tyler Elliot finding Liam Prynn but his shot was well saved by Barnes in the visitor’s goal. Just before the half hour the Lambs took a well-deserved lead, a fine pass by Tyler Elliot found Tallan Burns, who cut in from the left a fired a left foot shot low into the corner of the net from twelve yards. Josh Grant and Liam Prynn combine well but, Grant’s shot was deflected for a corner kick.
Just before the interval Falmouth’s Richards unleashed a thirty yard thunderbolt that whistled inches wide of the target. The Lambs immediately responded with a counter attack, which was cleared for a corner kick. From the kick Warren Daw saw his header clip the top of the bar.
Falmouth had a good spell at the start of the second half, but the Lambs defence held firm. The Lambs then regained their composure, in the 54th minute a brilliant ball by Dave Hallett found Jack Crago, he cut inside but his shot went over the bar. Nine minutes later Liam Prynn saw his fine effort turned away for a corner kick by Barnes. From the corner kick Jack Crago headed wide of the target.
Falmouth the levelled the score when a fine move saw Johnson provide the perfect cross for Brabant to fire home from close range.
The home team immediately got back on the front foot, with Tyler Elliot firing a twenty five yards shot that keeper Barnes did well to turn away for corner kick.
In the 73rd minute the Lambs regained the lead when a fine move resulted in Jack Crago providing the cross for young Bailey Williams to fire home.
The Lambs then created three good scoring opportunities to seal victory. The first fell to Jack Crago, but his shot from twelve yards, clipped the top of the cross bar with keeper Barnes well beaten. Minutes later another fine move saw Elliot find Williams, his pass found Josh Grant but his shot went inches wide of the target. Jack Crago then went close again.
The Lambs were made to pay for these missed chances as Falmouth took advantage and levelled the score when another fine move saw Johnson provide another good cross for Bowyer to score. The visitors then took the lead when a fine cross from the left found Johnson who flashed the ball home from ten yards.
Back came the Lambs and deservedly equalised in the dying minutes when Tyler Elliott was on hand to fire home from twelve yards, to complete this thrilling game of football.
This was another very entertaining game for the spectators. But the Lambs will be disappointed at not taking the three points.
Man of the match Ben Davis for his dominant display and assured display at the heart of the Lambs defence.
