With Mason Hughes out injured Tyler Elliot remained at full back, Josh Robins returned to the team having completed his suspension.
The Lambs played against a very strong wind in the first half, and quickly settled into the game, and almost opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Josh Grant flashed a fierce shot inches wide of the target.
Falmouth tried to take advantage with the wind at their backs but the Lambs defence were in fine form. Both Richards and Broglino went close with long range efforts for the home team. The Lambs responded well and played same fine football, with both Liam Prynn and Jack Crago having fine efforts well saved by Barnes in the home goal.
The Lambs deservedly took the lead in the 35th minute when another flowing passing move from back to front saw Josh Grant find Jack Crago who beat his defender before firing the ball into the top corner of the net.
Five minutes later keeper Josh Oak made a great save to deny Annear from levelling the score. The Lambs were having lot of success down the left flank, with Josh Robins and Jack Crago making penetrating runs to open up the home defence. This combination resulted in Crago providing a great cross to Luke Brown but his shot from twelve yards flashed over the bar.
The Lambs continued to press forward and doubled their lead in the 42nd minute with another classic move, when Liam Prynn provided the perfect pass for Jack Crago to fire home from fifteen yards. The half time whistle came with the Lambs deservedly leading by 2-0.
The second half continued to see the Lambs on the front foot with Josh Robins forcing a great save from Barnes, to turn his fierce shot from twenty five yards away for a corner kick. Crago then shot wide of the target when well placed.
Then against the run of play Falmouth reduced the arrears when they were awarded a free kick in the 58th minute. The ball came into the penalty area and some poor marking allowed Bowyer to head home.
This lifted the home team as they pressed for an equaliser, minutes later Brabyn shot inches wide of the target. The Lambs held firm and regained their composure, and once again showed their ability to create scoring opportunities.
The Lambs restored their two goal lead in the 68th minute when excellent work by substitute McCauley on the right, gliding past two defenders, his pass found Josh Grant, who in turn provided the perfect pass across the goal for Jack Crago to slot the ball home from four yards, at the far post, to complete his hat trick.
The Lambs had the ball in the net again in the 84th minute, but it was ruled out as Jack Crago was adjudged to be offside.
Falmouth were awarded a penalty in the 89th minute for a handball offence, Broglino made no mistake as he fired home the spot kick. The home team pressed for an equaliser but the Lambs comfortably saw out the time added on to seal the victory.
This was a top quality performance by the team to secure a hard earned three points against a good Falmouth team. They were excellent in the first half, playing against the elements, they scored two goals and created more scoring opportunities. They continued to play well in the second half and even when they came under pressure from Falmouth they looked assured and confident. Great team performance well done to everyone, but the man of the match was Jack Crago for his hat trick of goals.
