The Lambs started really well and almost took the lead in the ninth minute Josh Robins and Jack Crago combined well, Crago cut into the penalty area but his fine effort was inches wide of the target.
Two minutes later the home team opened the scoring when another fine attacking move Luke Brown provided the perfect finish curling his shot into the top corner of the net from an acute angle.
Josh Robins and Jack Crago then combine well to set up Tyler Elliott but his shot was well saved by Hillier in the visitors goal. In the 26th minute another terrific passing move saw Luke Brown find Josh Grant in space but his shot from six yards sailed over the bar.
The Lambs continued to dominate the possession, but Saltash always looked dangerous on the counter attack. On the half hour Saltash created their first real threat on the home goal, Josh Oak was called upon to make a fine save to deny Thompson from levelling the score.
Four minutes later visitors keeper Hillier made another fantastic save turning a fierce shot from Reece Shanley over the bar. Minutes later he made a brilliant double save to keep the score to a single goal advantage for the home side at the interval.
Five minutes into the second period another terrific passing move put Josh Grant in on goal but he dragged his shot wide of the target. The Lambs doubled their advantage in the 54th minute when they were awarded a penalty kick for an infringement in the penalty area. Josh Grant made no mistake as he rifled the ball home.
On the hour Liam Prynn replaced Tyler Elliot, he was soon in the action forcing a corner kick. Hillier made a great save to deny Prynn scoring from the kick taken by Dave Hallett.
In the 80th minute the outstanding Warren Daw sealed the victory when when he rose magnificently to power home a wonderful header from a corner kick. Sam Hughes then replaced Jack Crago.
The nearest Saltash came to scoring was a thunderous shot from a Menhennick free kick which flashed inches wide of the target. The Lambs saw the remaining minutes out with ease to record what turned out to be a comfortable victory agains a good Saltash team.
The Lambs must now focus on the visit of Helston Athletic to get the right result, before the mouthwatering final day at Plymouth Argyle with the title on the line.
Another good performance by the squad with a number of fine performances, both Dan Evans and Lewis Daw were superb at the heart of the home defence Dave Hallett and Tyler Elliott and Luke Brown controlled the middle of the park, with Jack Crago and Josh Grant looking really sharp up front. Josh Robins and Reece Shanley also had a fine game prompting many dangerous attacks.
However the Man on the Match was Warren Daw for breaking up many of the opposition attack in the middle of the park, covering every blade of grass, and scoring that all important third goal.
