The Lambs made some changes to the proposed starting eleven when Dan Evans picked up an injury in the pre match warm up and was rested as a precaution, this meant Warren Daw moved into the back four with Tallan Burns starting in midfield.
The opening quarter of an hour was fairly even with both sides probing for an opening although the Lambs had the ball in the net but it was ruled out for offside. The Lambs deservedly got the breakthrough in the 17th minute when a fine move saw Callum Watson provide the defence splitting pass for Jack Crago to fire the ball into the top corner of the net. Minutes later Keynsham had a goal disallowed for offside.
The Lambs were starting to take control of the game with Jack Crago heading a cross from Reece Shanley over the bar. The visitors had to make a change in the 23rd minute when Luke Brown picked up an injury and was replaced by Alex Cairo.
The pressure told in the end when Jack Crago cut into the penalty area where he was dragged to the ground. The referee had no hesitation in pointing to penalty spot. Crago fired home the spot kick low into the corner of the net.
Keynsham’s Knighton saw his fine effort flash inches wide of the goal, just before the Lambs increased their lead in the 40th minute. A terrific passing move involving four players opened up the home defence for Josh Grant to flash the ball home from eighteen yards.
Just before the interval Wilson saw his fine effort for the home team, cannon back off the upright and was cleared to safety. The visitors went in at half time with a three goal lead.

The home team never gave up and tried the hardest to get back into the game. The Lambs were sloppy as they lost possession midway in their own half, Harris penetrated the Lambs defence before laying on the perfect square pass for Lee to have the easiest of tasks to flash the ball home from three yards.
Just after the hour mark Manager Stuart Henderson made a substitution with Luke Cloke replacing Tallan Burns. The Lambs created several more scoring chance but Jack Crago wasted two good scoring opportunities, the first he blasted over the bar and the second sliced his shot wide of the target.
The Lambs were now in control of the game and looked the more likely to score. With ten minute remaining Brendon Roberts replaced Jack Crago, he was soon in the action having a fine effort saved by Clark in the home goal. It was Luke Cloke next to see his fine effort saved by keeper Clark.
With nine minutes remaining a well worked short corner kick routine caught the home defence napping, and Liam Prynn took full advantage, as he flashed the ball home from twelve yards, beating Clark at his near post, to restore the three goal advantage.
This was another good team performance earning a well-deserved win against a team that have had some good results recently. There were a number of really good performances with Callum Watson controlling the midfield, both Ben Cross and Warren Daw had excellent games at the heart of the defence, Josh Grant and Liam Prynn looked sharp, but the Man of the Match was Jack Crago.
